Q. At what times can we access our storage unit?
A. Storage units can be accessed 24/7 but Mt. Horeb noise ordinances must be taken into account when visiting the premises during “off” hours.
Q. I went to rent a unit online but no units are available of that size. How will I know when a unit might be available if I choose to go on the waiting list?
A. We will contact you once on the waiting list to inform you of any upcoming move outs scheduled in the size unit you chose or sizes close to that requested. Individuals move in and out quite often and its possible a unit might be available in just a few short days. Your always welcome to contact us via email or phone with updates or current status of potential unit availability.
Q. Do you have any units or space onsite for RV’s or travel trailers?
A. Unfortunately we do not have exterior space for RV’s or travel trailers. Our longest units are a 10’x 24′ and have 9′ x 9′ doors that may accommodate smaller travel trailers.
Q. Do we need to provide our own lock?
A. Yes, but we do offer key and combination disk locks for purchase
Q. Is there security onsite?
A. Yes, we do have 24/7 security cameras covering all areas of the premises but they are not constantly monitored. Management is not responsible for immediately responding to help if required.
Q. How can rent be paid?
A. We offer online payment via ACH, debit card, and credit card. Rent may also be paid using check by mailing to 8990 Zwettler Rd., Blue Mounds WI 53517 (Don’t mail cash!)
Q. Can we have payment automatically withdrawn from our account?
A. Yes, when you rent online automatic payments will occur automatically on the 1st of every month. This option can be edited anytime thereafter by contacting us.
Q. When is rent due?
A. Rent is due the 1st of every month. Rent is considered late thereafter however we allow a five day grace period before any late charges which are applied on the 7th of each month.
Q. We no longer need to rent storage unit. How do we cancel?
A. Cancellation can be done by logging into your rental account online and selecting a day to discontinue lease of unit, contacting us via email, or by calling us.
Q. If new rental of unit is performed mid-month will we be charged for a full month?
A. No, first month is prorated to bring you up to the 1st of the following month (the renew date). However when choosing to vacate you will be charged for the full month no matter what day of that month it is. This is specified in the rental agreement.
Q. What can we expect to pay at time of lease signing? Any deposits required?
A. At time of lease signing you will pay prorated amount of the current month and one month’s deposit. Recurring will then take effect the 1st of the next month.
Q. How do we get our deposit back?
A. We will automatically return your deposit once we verify unit is in satisfactory condition and there is no outstanding balance once vacated. Remember to inform us of any change of address so the deposit is sent to the correct location.
Q. Some of my personal information has changed since lease signing. How can I change?
A. You can inform us of personal information changes by accessing the “edit profile” on your online account. Click on “contact us.” This will direct you to send us a request for changes. after Contacting us via email or phone can also be done.
Q. Can I get reminders of payments due?
A. Yes at time of lease signing you are automatically included in reminders via text and email. You can inform us if you have preferences not receive one or the other.
Q. I get too many reminders!
A. We can manually edit how and what reminders you want to receive and how you receive them. In this case we personally have to edit so feel free to give us an email or phone call and we will edit your reminders.
Q. Are my belongings insured?
A. As like with most self storage facilities, we do not provide insurance for your items. We strongly recommend that you insure your property. Your homeowner or renters insurance may provide the necessary coverage but check your insurance policy or call your insurance agent to make sure.
